Hello World!

In the Summer of 2012, I finished my college semester ready to do something productive and meaningful with my newly found free time. I had previously attempted to do something similar with no follow through. This time I put up a public list of TO-DOs that would challenge me and also give me time to do nothing with friends, work, and play games.

Spring 2013 Wrap Up

The Summer 2013 List

Yet another late start, this time with extra tardiness.
As of writing, I'm at the beginning of August, and have experienced quite a fulfilling summer. I'm going to write some of these as “goals” even though their planning and outcome has long-passed. It's not cheating if I include both success and failure! As typical, this list will server as a to-do list of some things I want and need to do and on completion include an afterthought.
Oh, I've officially been doing this for a full year. Yay me!

Wrap Up

A season to remember, definitely.
Whozawhat was released on my birthday, and within a week attracted some press attention and I continued to develop and refine it alongside my humble, but extremely awesome, user base. Continuing to work on it during school has proven to be something of a challenge, but I'm working on ways of fitting it in. It means less time to do any relaxation, but I think I can do it.
I worked a second job over the first half of my summer break, which was at first a internship. It turned into a paid position immediately after showcasing something I'd written for the company. It was just a little PHP code, but it must have impressed.
I resigned from the position on 11 July.
The books I read over the summer weren't particularly difficult reads, but John Green's The fault in our stars was one of the most enjoyable books I've read, and I highly encourage you to read it. If fact, (friends and family) you can borrow my copy if you want!
I started school again, I think it'll be a nice term. The season is starting to change into my favorite half.
After ten years of growth, I cut my hair. I don't remember the exact length it was, but it ran down to my lower back. It was an interesting change. No longer did I have to spend 10 minutes to thoroughly wash my hair.

Hello World!

In the Summer of 2012, I finished a semester of college with a lot of time to do things, and in need of a way to keep track of it all.

It was a good success, and after some time it feel by the wayside as my “doing” habits grew stronger.

Instead of a TODO list, I'm keeping this blog as a quarterly journal of what has been keeping my occupied.
